Both DALLE 3 and Midjourney perform well visually. Despite that, if you analyze the prompts more thoroughly you will see that Midjourney misses a lot of details that are described in the prompt but do not appear in the image.

Overall, I think DALL E 3 is more impressive than Midjourney v5.2 so far. The most important thing an AI image generator should try to achieve is to create an output image exactly as the user imagined it in their head and described it in their prompt. At this point, DALLE 3 is very accurate, it can generate almost every detail in your prompt and logically link them together. Midjourney is undoubtedly best for creating photorealistic faces or environments, but it still sometimes doesn’t create the details you want, no matter how hard you try.
